Welcome to another great season of Kailua Canoe Club paddling, and what better way to start the season off than with our annual Blue and Gold event at Kailua Beach. The Blue and Gold has been a KCC tradition for many years and it is back! It is a great opportunity to meet new people or build better bonds between the people you already know.

The day begins with a scrimmage of races between different crews in the club. This is your chance to prove that your crew IS better than your rival crew. Who says the girls can't beat the boys? Relay races will also be done for those of you who say paddling just isn't enough. Following the races, we will have a potluck at our canoe halau. Once we finish grinding food and cleaning up, it's off to Bellows AFB where we'll continue our weekend with a camp-out. So get your skits together, now its time to see who has the best talent and funniest skits. Novice B's won last year, let’s see if anyone can dethrone them.

PARENTS: please remember that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to attend the camp-out.
